Nozzles basically tend to be made of tungsten carbide as it has very high hardness and high wear resistance. However there are also tungsten nozzles because tungsten is still available even under acidic and high temperature environment while Tungsten carbide gets corrosive by acid due to its contained binder, Co and Ni. If you are planning to use a nozzle for an acidic liquid or a gas under high temperature environment, we suggest tungsten as a material for that use.
